THE PLEASURE LAB · ONLINE
Tell me what you want to learn.
Live online workshops with a qualified sexologist, run at a decent hour for your part of the world. Register your interest, choose the topics you're curious about, and you'll be the first to hear when a session runs near you.
Private from start to finish. Nothing appears on your social feed, nobody sees your name, and registering commits you to nothing.

Workshop format
90 minutes
In the evening. Workshop content, then your questions.
Live on Zoom
From your own couch, anywhere in the world.
Camera Off
Camera off if you prefer, nobody has to speak

Nobody taught any of us how this actually works.
THAT'S THE WHOLE REASON THESE EXIST
WHO IS RUNNING THESE
Meet Rachel Strevens
I'm a qualified sexologist, sex coach and educator, accredited through ANZCAL and affiliated with the Sexual Health Alliance in the United States.
I write regular columns on sex and relationships for New Zealand's largest newspaper and magazines, and I've spent the last few years teaching this material to rooms full of adults who were never taught it the first time round.
FEATURED IN
"This isn't therapy. It's practical, and it works."
Two minutes, and you're on the list.
I'm building the calendar around what people actually want to learn, so the topic question below is the one that matters most. Tick as many as you like.
DON'T JUST TAKE MY WORD FOR IT
Here's what previous workshop attendees say.
Don't feel awkward or embarrassed. Approach it with an open mind and just do it. What have you got to lose?
MARK - MEN'S WORKSHOP ATTENDEE
The Pleasure Lab creates a remarkably safe, comfortable space to explore topics that are absolutely necessary for personal growth and intimacy. It left me reflecting deeply on things we don't talk about enough. Highly recommend!
A.S. - WOMEN'S WORKSHOP ATTENDEE
I wish more people would be interested in getting information like this out in the open. Rachel makes it easy & comfortable to talk openly.
PAULA - WOMEN'S WORKSHOP ATTENDEE
It really was educational, it wasn't a sales pitch at all, and it felt safe.

COMMON QUESTIONS
The questions I get asked the most
Will anyone see me or know I'm there? No, not if you don't want to. You can choose to keep your camera off, and you'll only ever be a first name on a screen if you choose to be. You can sit through the whole thing without saying a word, and plenty of people do. Questions can be sent to me anonymously during the session if you'd prefer not to ask it yourself.
What actually happens in 90 minutes? I give you some information for about an hour, on one topic, properly, with slide, and often questions as we go. Then we open it up for all of your questions for the last half hour. It's information, not therapy, and it's the kind of practical detail nobody covers in school, at the doctor's, or anywhere else.
Do I need a partner to come along? Not at all. Some people come because they've been with the same person for thirty years. Some are single, some are dating again, some just want to know more than they currently do. All of that works.
Is there a workshop coming up in my country? Sessions are running in New Zealand now, with more countries opening as the list grows. That's exactly why the country question is on the form. Where you tell me you are is what decides where I schedule next, and everyone on the list hears about their own timezone first.
Is this medical advice? No, and it's worth being clear about the line. I'm a sexologist and an educator, not a doctor. I can tell you how bodies, desire and arousal work, and what the research actually says. Anything involving medication, surgery or a diagnosis is a conversation for your GP, and I'll say so if it comes up.
What does it cost? Registering is free and commits you to nothing. The workshops themselves are ticketed, and you'll get the price along with the date when a session opens in your part of the world.
Your best sex doesn't have to be behind you.
With a little curiosity and a little know-how, it might be just around the corner.
